My
name is Arthur Dawes. I am 21 years old, born in Sale in 1982. Our
family moved to Morwell when I was 6 months old. I am a descendent
of the Gunai people in Gippsland, Victoria. I’ve been painting
for 2 years at TAFE.
My
painting is called the Hunters and the Hunted because
there are symbols representing the men hunting the animals. These
animals have Gunai markings on them.
