Going to Court for Parenting Orders
A parenting order will say:
- Who has responsibility for the children
- Where they live
- What time they will spend with the other parent
- Any other thing the Court considers are in the best interests of the children.
A judge will hear all proposals and consider all the evidence. However, a judge is not bound to follow anyone’s proposal, and can make any order the Court sees as best for the children.
