Community Legal Education

VALS is committed to ongoing Community Legal
Education (CLE).

VALS believes that information about legal issues and services is a powerful tool that empowers our community to navigate legal issues as they arise.

A key aspect of VALS service delivery is making sure our clients feel comfortable to ask questions and understand the processes they are navigating. In doing so our clients are able to make empowered decisions about the things that impact them.

Our CLE work compliments our legal service delivery by making resources and information available to community as a starting point in navigating legal matters.

Online resources

Working alongside our legal practices, our Community Engagement team have developed a library of CLE resources and community factsheets that can be accessed through the VALS Digital Library.

These resources aim to answer some of the main questions you may have about particular legal issues. We continue to develop and regularly publish new resources for our community. If there are particular legal themes or issues you would like our team to develop a fact sheet on, please use the contact us form below to let us know.
