Balit Ngulu is designed to be trauma-informed and provide holistic, wraparound, culturally safe support for our youngest clients.
Balit Ngulu’s Strong Voice, Strong Futures program works with young people involved with, or at risk of involvement with, the criminal legal system by providing personalised education and/or employment pathway planning, support and coordination.
Balit Ngulu also has the Disability Advice Response Team (DART) program in partnership with Melbourne City Mission to assist young people who come into Marram-Ngala Ganbu, or contact with the criminal division and may have a disability. The
program steps in to assist with screening, assessment and if needed, support through the NDIS process.
Balit Ngulu provides legal advice, representation and case management.
