The VALS Criminal team is led by an Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) Accredited Specialist. LIV Accredited Specialists must have a minimum of five years full time practice experience and a minimum of three years experience in their area of specialisation.

LIV Accredited Specialists must maintain a high degree of professional development in their area of specialisation. LIV Accredited Specialists must pass a comprehensive examination process, developed by legal professional experts. LIV Accredited Specialists must apply for re-accreditation every three years.   

Australian Charity and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) Registered  

The Registered Charity Tick was developed by the ACNC as a way for registered charities to promote their presence on the Charity Register. VALS is a registered Charity with the ACNC. Visit ACNC to learn more about our accreditation.   

National Association of Community Legal Centres (NACLC) Accreditation

 

The Federation of Community Legal Centres Victoria is the certifier and decision maker on accreditation and certification for CLCs in Victoria. VALS has been formally granted the National Association of Community Legal Centres (NACLC) Accreditation. Visit FCLC to learn more about our accreditation.
